Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding contract between you and Resodro AI (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

These Terms govern your access to and use of:

• the Resodro AI website at https://resodro.ai and its pages (the “Website”); and
• the Resodro AI web application and related APIs at https://app.resodro.ai (the “App”),

including all features, content, tools, and support we make available through them (collectively, the “Services”).

By visiting the Website, creating an Account, accepting these Terms and applicable policies at registration (or checkout, where offered), clicking “I agree,” purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to the applicable policies incorporated below. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and a policy listed above, these Terms control except where the other policy expressly states that it controls for its subject matter (for example, refunds in the Cancellation and Refund Policy, or data processing in the Data Processing Agreement).

How policies apply to you

• Personal use: If you use the Services for your own career as an individual, the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and other policies above apply as relevant to you. The Data Processing Agreement does not apply to that personal use.
• Organizational or business use: If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other entity, or you provide personal data about your employees, contractors, or other individuals in that capacity, the Data Processing Agreement also applies and is incorporated by your acceptance of these Terms (including at signup where offered) and/or your separate agreement with Resodro AI, as described in the Data Processing Agreement and Section 18.

At Account registration, you must confirm acceptance using the checkbox text presented in the App. We maintain records of acceptance as described in our Privacy Policy.

By using the Services, you also agree to each applicable incorporated policy for your type of use, including the Data Processing Agreement where it applies.

Organizational use

If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. “You” includes that entity.

Enterprise customers

If you execute a separate written agreement with Resodro AI (including an order form or Data Processing Agreement), that agreement controls over these Terms to the extent of any conflict.

2. Definitions

• “Account” means a registered user account for the App.
• “User Content” means information and materials you submit to the Services (profile data, resumes, cover letters, interview responses, uploads, preferences, messages, and similar content).
• “AI Features” means functionality that uses artificial intelligence or machine learning, including third-party models, to generate, evaluate, rank, transcribe, or transform content.
• “Free Plan” and “Pro Plan” mean subscription tiers we offer, as described in the App and on the Website.
• “Merchant of Record” means Dodo Payments Inc. and/or its affiliates operating under the trade name “Dodo Payments,” which process payments for paid plans as described in Section 8.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Services.

The Services are intended for individual job seekers and career development. We do not knowingly offer the Services to children. If you believe a minor has provided personal data, contact us through https://resodro.ai/contact.

You may not use the Services where prohibited by applicable law.

4. Changes to the Services and These Terms

We may modify the Services or these Terms at any time. We will post the current Terms at https://resodro.ai/legal/terms-of-service and update the “Last updated” date at the top.

For material changes, we may provide additional notice (for example, by email to your Account email, a notice in the App, or a banner on the Website).

Your continued use of the Services after the “Last updated” date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires your explicit consent or gives you additional rights.

If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services and may cancel any paid subscription as described in our Cancellation and Refund Policy at https://resodro.ai/legal/cancellation-and-refund-policy.

5. Description of the Services

Resodro AI is an AI-assisted career companion. Depending on your plan, configuration, and feature availability, the Services may include:

5.1 Website

The Website provides information about Resodro AI, pricing, legal policies, links to the App, and, when available, testimonials or other marketing content. Website content is for general information only and does not constitute professional, legal, immigration, or employment advice.

5.2 App features

• Account and authentication: registration and sign-in using supported methods offered in the App (such as email and password and/or supported federated sign-in providers when enabled), session management, optional multi-factor authentication where available, email verification where applicable (including one-time codes where offered), and password recovery.
• Profile and career data: storage of professional profile information (for example work history, education, skills, certifications, targets, job descriptions, references, and optional profile photos).
• Resumes: creation, editing, templates, import from documents in supported formats, AI-assisted generation, improvement, and evaluation where available, and export (including PDF where available).
• Cover letters: creation, editing, AI-assisted generation, and export.
• Interview preparation: practice interview experiences; optional microphone and camera use where offered; transcription and coaching-style feedback where available; optional technical exercises where offered; speech-related features where enabled; and activity summaries where available.
• Job search: presentation of job listings from third-party sources, relevance ranking where available, filtering and notifications where enabled on eligible plans, and periodic updates where available.
• Insights: dashboards and summaries of your activity where available.
• Billing: subscription management for paid plans.
• Help requests: where enabled, in-app help submissions may be delivered to our support channels using integrations we configure.

5.3 Availability and changes

Features may require compatible browsers or devices, permissions (such as microphone or camera), and third-party services. We may add, change, limit, suspend, or remove features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Plan limits (such as caps on AI usage, sessions, searches, exports, or other usage dimensions) are applied in the App and may change in accordance with these Terms. Limits, features, and pricing are shown in the App and/or on the Website.

6. Account Registration and Security

6.1 Registration

To use most App features, you must create an Account with accurate, current, and complete information and keep it updated. We may require email verification, profile completion, and explicit acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy before granting full access. Some registration paths may require verification by one-time code before your Account is fully activated.

6.2 Password rules and safety checks

If you register with a password, you must meet the password requirements shown in the App. We may check passwords against recognized breach datasets using privacy-preserving methods. You must not use a password known to be compromised.

6.3 Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and authentication factors. Notify us promptly through https://resodro.ai/contact if you suspect unauthorized access.

6.4 No sharing

Accounts are personal unless we expressly authorize a team or enterprise offering in writing. You may not sell, transfer, or share Account credentials.

6.5 Cookies

The App uses cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy at https://resodro.ai/legal/cookie-policy.

7. Acceptable Use

Your use of the Services must comply with these Terms and our Acceptable Use Policy at https://resodro.ai/legal/acceptable-use-policy.

Without limiting that policy, you agree not to:

• violate applicable law or third-party rights;
• submit false, misleading, defamatory, harassing, or unlawful User Content;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your qualifications or identity;
• interfere with or disrupt the Services, circumvent usage limits, or probe security;
• scrape or harvest the Services except as we expressly permit;
• use the Services to build a competing product or train third-party models using our Services or outputs, except as we expressly allow;
• use interview or recording features to record third parties without consent where required by law; or
• rely on the Services as a substitute for professional legal, immigration, financial, medical, or career counseling.

We may investigate violations and remove content, suspend Accounts, or terminate access. Serious violations may be reported to authorities.

8. Subscription Plans, Billing, and Payments

8.1 Plans

We offer a Free Plan and a paid Pro Plan (and may offer other plans). Plan names, prices, limits, and features are shown in the App and/or on the Website and may change in accordance with these Terms.

Prices may be shown in USD or other currencies at checkout and may vary by location. Taxes may apply based on your location.

8.2 Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record

Paid subscriptions are sold by Dodo Payments Inc. and/or its affiliates (“Dodo Payments”) acting as merchant of record and reseller on behalf of Resodro AI. When you purchase a Pro Plan:

• you agree to Dodo Payments’ applicable checkout terms and notices presented at purchase;
• Dodo Payments (not Resodro AI) is the seller of record for the transaction;
• your payment statement may show a descriptor assigned by Dodo Payments;
• subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected) until canceled; and
• payment processing, tax collection where applicable, and related payment rules are subject to Dodo Payments’ systems and policies.

List prices shown in the App or on the Website are display prices. The amount charged at checkout is determined at purchase through Dodo Payments and may differ due to taxes, currency conversion, promotions, regional pricing, or processor configuration.

8.3 Renewal and cancellation

Unless canceled, paid subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel renewal through the App and/or Dodo Payments’ customer portal when available in your Account.

Refunds are governed solely by our Cancellation and Refund Policy at https://resodro.ai/legal/cancellation-and-refund-policy. Unless stated there, fees already paid are non-refundable.

Canceling your Account does not automatically cancel a Dodo Payments subscription; you must cancel billing through the provided flows.

8.4 Plan limits and fair use

If you exceed plan limits, certain actions may be blocked until the next usage period or until you upgrade. We may throttle, queue, or deny requests to protect stability and prevent abuse.

8.5 Promotional or complimentary access

We may grant complimentary or promotional Pro access for a limited time. Such access remains subject to these Terms and may be revoked.

8.6 Price changes

We may change subscription prices for future billing periods with notice as required by applicable law and Dodo Payments policies.

9. Free Plan and Trials

Free Plan access is provided as available and may be modified or discontinued at any time. Any trial or promotional period will be described at signup; when it ends, you may be charged unless you cancel before conversion to a paid plan.

10. User Content

10.1 Your ownership

As between you and Resodro AI, you retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the licenses below.

10.2 License to Resodro AI

You grant Resodro AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use User Content solely to provide, maintain, secure, improve, and promote the Services, comply with law, enforce these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy, and as described in our Privacy Policy.

This includes submitting portions of User Content to subprocessors listed at https://resodro.ai/legal/subprocessors as necessary to operate the Services.

10.3 Your responsibilities

You represent that you have all rights necessary to provide User Content and that it complies with these Terms and applicable law. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of User Content and for how you use outputs (including in job applications and employer communications).

10.4 Sensitive information

Do not submit information you are not comfortable sharing with us and our subprocessors, including government ID numbers, financial account details, health information, or confidential trade secrets of employers, unless you have a lawful right to do so.

10.5 Backups

You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important documents. Export features may be unavailable during outages.

11. AI-Powered Features; No Professional Advice

Parts of the Services use AI Features (including third-party models and related services) to generate, evaluate, rank, transcribe, or transform content.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Outputs may be wrong. AI-generated or AI-assisted resumes, cover letters, interview feedback, job matches, and similar outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated, or inappropriate. They are suggestions only, not facts.
• You must review everything before use. You are solely responsible for verifying accuracy and suitability before submitting materials to employers, schools, immigration authorities, or others.
• No employment guarantee. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, compensation, or visa or work authorization.
• Interview prep is simulation only. Interview features are coaching and practice tools, not live employer interviews, psychological counseling, or legal advice.
• Automated processing. We may use automated processing (including relevance scoring and personalization related to your stated preferences) as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Usage metering. We may log usage to enforce plan limits, secure the Services, and improve the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Nothing in the Services creates an attorney-client, recruiter-client, fiduciary, or employment relationship between you and Resodro AI.

12. Job Listings and Third-Party Content

Job postings, employer names, logos, descriptions, links, and metadata may come from third-party job data providers and employer sites. We do not control, endorse, or guarantee third-party listings. Listings may be outdated, inaccurate, or withdrawn. External links are governed by third-party terms.

Your interactions with employers are solely between you and them. We are not a party to any employment relationship or application.

We may retain or delete stored listings according to our data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Interview Features; Device Permissions

Interview preparation may request access to your microphone and, if you enable it, camera through your browser or device. Audio may be processed for transcription and feedback; optional video may be processed when you enable features that use it.

You control permissions through your browser or operating system. Use these features in appropriate private settings and comply with laws on recording and consent.

14. Communications

By creating an Account, you consent to receive transactional communications (such as verification codes, password reset messages, security notices, billing notices, and job-alert emails if you enable them).

You may opt out of marketing communications where required by law using unsubscribe instructions in those messages. Transactional messages may still be sent.

15. Privacy and Cookies

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy at https://resodro.ai/legal/privacy-policy, including processing under applicable law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), the GDPR, and the UK GDPR, where applicable).

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy at https://resodro.ai/legal/cookie-policy.

We have not appointed a separate Data Protection Officer or EU/UK representative. For privacy requests, grievances, and supervisory authority inquiries, contact https://resodro.ai/contact.

For privacy-related requests, use in-app settings where available or https://resodro.ai/contact.

16. Intellectual Property

16.1 Resodro AI property

The Services, including software, design, branding, documentation, and underlying technology (excluding your User Content), are owned by Resodro AI or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

“Resodro AI,” logos, and related marks are our trademarks. You may not use them without prior written permission.

16.2 Templates and exports

Resume and cover letter templates and export layouts are licensed for your personal use through the Services. You may not extract, resell, or redistribute template systems outside the Services except as permitted by us in writing.

16.3 Feedback

If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you grant Resodro AI a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without compensation, to the extent permitted by law.

16.4 Copyright complaints

Copyright infringement claims are handled under our Copyright and DMCA Policy at https://resodro.ai/legal/copyright-and-dmca-policy. For notices, see Section 22 below.

17. Third-Party Services

The Services integrate with or rely on third parties described in our Privacy Policy and at https://resodro.ai/legal/subprocessors, which may include, for example: identity and authentication providers; AI and speech providers; cloud infrastructure and hosting; payment processing; job data providers; email delivery; analytics and advertising technologies on the Website; and other service providers we use from time to time.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party acts or omissions.

18. Data Processing Agreement

18.1 Personal use

If you use the Services only for your personal career as an individual, Resodro AI acts as controller of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. The Data Processing Agreement at https://resodro.ai/legal/data-processing-agreement does not apply.

18.2 Organizational or business use

If you are a business customer or use the Services on behalf of an organization and provide personal data about individuals other than yourself (for example employees or candidates), the Data Processing Agreement at https://resodro.ai/legal/data-processing-agreement applies to that processing.

By accepting these Terms (including at Account registration where you confirm agreement to applicable policies) or executing a separate business agreement, you agree to the Data Processing Agreement for that processing. The Data Processing Agreement controls over these Terms for data-processing matters to the extent of any conflict.

19. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, pose a security or legal risk, or if required by law.

You may stop using the Services at any time.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends. Sections that by nature should survive (including payment obligations accrued, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution, and intellectual property) survive termination.

20. Account Deletion

You may request Account deletion through in-app settings or by contacting us through https://resodro.ai/contact.

Deletion may be subject to a grace period (for example, 30 days) during which you may cancel the deletion request by signing in again. After the grace period, we will delete or de-identify your Account and associated User Content from our active systems, subject to legal retention obligations and backup cycles described in the Privacy Policy.

Deletion does not automatically cancel an active Dodo Payments subscription.

21. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES (INCLUDING THE WEBSITE, APP, AI FEATURES, JOB LISTINGS, AND INTERVIEW TOOLS) ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR ACHIEVE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits warranties or liabilities that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights in India, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions where you live or consume the Services.

22. Copyright and DMCA Notices

We respect intellectual property rights. Our Copyright and DMCA Policy at https://resodro.ai/legal/copyright-and-dmca-policy describes how to submit infringement notices and counter-notices.

Resodro AI is not currently registered in the U.S. Copyright Office Designated Agent Directory. We still accept copyright notices as described in that policy and below.

Notices must include the information required under applicable law (including sufficient detail to identify the work and allegedly infringing material, your contact information, and statements of good faith and accuracy). We may remove content and terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

23. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

• Indirect damages. Resodro AI and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services, even if advised of the possibility.
• Cap on direct damages. Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services in any 12-month period shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amounts you paid to us (or through Dodo Payments for the Services) in that 12-month period, in the currency in which you were charged, or (b) USD 100 (United States Dollars one hundred).
• Exceptions. The above limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited).
• Third parties. We are not liable for acts or omissions of employers, job boards, payment processors, or other third parties.

If you are a consumer, you may have statutory rights that are not affected by this Section to the extent those rights cannot be waived by contract under the law of your country of residence (including India, EEA member states, and the United Kingdom).

24. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Resodro AI and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your User Content; (b) your use of the Services; (c) your violation of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law; or (d) your dispute with any third party (including employers).

We may assume exclusive defense of any matter subject to indemnification; you will cooperate with us.

This Section applies to the extent permitted by applicable law and does not require indemnification where prohibited (for example, for claims arising solely from our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, to the extent prohibited).

25. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

25.1 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with specific reference to the laws applicable in the State of Bihar, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection, data protection, or other non-waivable laws of your country of residence require otherwise.

25.2 Courts

Courts at Patna, Bihar, India shall have jurisdiction over disputes that are not subject to arbitration under Section 25.4, subject to mandatory consumer forum or court rights in your place of residence where applicable.

25.3 Informal resolution

Before initiating arbitration or court proceedings (other than urgent injunctive relief), you agree to contact us through https://resodro.ai/contact and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

25.4 Arbitration

Except where prohibited by mandatory law or where you have the right to bring claims in your local courts or consumer forums as a consumer, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration administered by the Indian Council of Arbitration in accordance with its applicable rules in force at the time of the request.

The arbitral award shall be final and binding. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

To the extent permitted by law, you and Resodro AI agree that disputes will be conducted only on an individual basis, not as a class, consolidated, or representative action.

25.5 Time limit

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any claim must be filed within one (1) year after the cause of action arose, or it is permanently barred.

26. International Use and Export

The Services are operated from India. If you access the Services from outside India, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

You may not use the Services in violation of applicable export control or sanctions laws.

27. Grievances and Statutory Rights

If you have a grievance regarding the Services or content on the Services, contact us at https://resodro.ai/contact. We will acknowledge and endeavour to resolve grievances within timeframes required under applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India) and rules made thereunder, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), and consumer protection laws, where applicable.

We have not appointed a named Grievance Officer or EU/UK data protection representative. Use https://resodro.ai/contact for all such requests.

EEA/UK data subjects: you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We encourage you to contact us first at https://resodro.ai/contact.

Nothing in these Terms limits your non-waivable statutory rights under applicable law.

28. General

• Entire agreement. These Terms and the incorporated policies are the entire agreement regarding the Services, except for any separate written agreement with Resodro AI.
• Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
• No waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
• Force majeure. We are not liable for delay or failure due to events beyond our reasonable control (including internet failures, third-party outages, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, or government action).
• Relationship. No partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship is created.
• Notices to you. We may provide notice via the Services, email to your Account email, or other reasonable means.
• Notices to Resodro AI. Legal and contractual notices must be sent to: Resodro AI Kankarbagh, Patna, Bihar-800020, India

and, for copyright notices, to dmca [at] resodro [dot] ai as described in Section 22.
