Resodro AI (“Resodro AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) explains in this Privacy Policy how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal data when you use:

including related communications, billing, and support (collectively, the “Services”).

2. Scope and Roles

2.1 Who this Policy applies to

This Policy applies to:

• visitors to the Website;
• users who register for an Account and use the App; and
• individuals who contact us or receive our communications.

2.2 Personal use vs organizational use

• Personal career use: If you use the Services for your own job search and career development as an individual, Resodro AI is generally the controller of your personal data under this Policy.
• Organizational or business use: If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other entity and provide personal data about your employees, contractors, candidates, or other individuals, you are typically the controller for that data and Resodro AI acts as a processor under our Data Processing Agreement at https://resodro.ai/legal/data-processing-agreement. That DPA does not apply to purely personal use.

By using the Services, you agree to each applicable incorporated policy for your type of use, as described in our Terms of Service. Where we collect contractual acceptance records at registration, we maintain evidence of acceptance as described in this Policy.

2.3 What this Policy does not cover

• Employers and job boards linked from the Services process data under their own policies.
• Third-party sign-in, payment, analytics, and advertising providers process data under their own terms when you interact with them.
• The Website may use cookies and similar technologies governed by our Cookie Policy at https://resodro.ai/legal/cookie-policy.

3. Personal Data We Collect

The personal data we collect depends on how you use the Services. We group it as follows.

3.1 Account and identity

• Name, email address, phone number (if you provide it)
• Account identifiers assigned by our authentication systems
• Authentication and security information (such as sign-in method, linked social sign-in providers where you use them, verification status, and multi-factor authentication details where enabled)
• Records associated with accepting the Terms of Service and acknowledging this Privacy Policy where required at signup (for example timing, the acceptance text presented, references to applicable policy URLs, and basic connection information such as IP address and browser information)
• Information needed to operate password-based sign-up and verification (we do not store your password as plaintext in our routine user-profile store used for ongoing account data; credential handling occurs through authentication systems aligned with industry practice)

3.2 Profile and career data (User Content)

• Professional profile fields (work history, education, skills, certifications, projects, targets, preferred roles, industries, locations, job descriptions, references, and similar information you choose to provide)
• Resumes and cover letters you create, edit, import, or store
• Profile photos you upload
• Files you import for resume parsing in supported formats

3.3 Interview preparation

When you use interview features, we may process:

• Audio from your microphone (for transcription and coaching-style feedback)
• Optional camera or video input if you enable camera-related features
• Transcripts, written answers, coaching feedback, session metadata, and activity summaries associated with interview prep
• Optional technical exercise prompts, submissions, and related feedback where those features exist
• Speech-related playback features initiated by you, processed on your device and/or via the Services depending on how the feature works in your browser

3.4 Job search

• Career targets and preferences used to personalize job exploration
• Job listings and related metadata presented or stored for your Account (such as relevance scores, saved selections, interaction signals, and application-related markers you choose)
• Email alert preferences and messages sent when alerts are enabled

3.5 Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are sold by Dodo Payments Inc. and/or its affiliates (“Dodo Payments”) acting as merchant of record and reseller on behalf of Resodro AI. Dodo Payments collects payment instrument details during checkout under its notices and terms.

We typically receive limited subscription and billing-status information necessary to administer access and comply with billing operations, such as:

• subscription status, plan, billing period, and amount references
• processor references needed to link your Account to your subscription record
• transaction and invoice references where applicable

We do not receive or store your full payment card number through our own systems in the ordinary course. Your bank or card statement may show a billing descriptor chosen by the payment processor.

3.6 Technical, usage, and device data

• IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, language, and time zone
• Log and diagnostic data, security signals, and API activity needed to operate and protect the Services
• Usage information used to enforce plan limits, prevent abuse, understand reliability, and improve product quality (for example feature usage and usage accounting relevant to your plan)
• Cookie and similar technology data (see our Cookie Policy)

3.7 Communications and support

• In-app help requests (when enabled), including topic, message, and optional page path
• Records of requests and our responses
• Transactional email delivery metadata (such as verification codes, password reset, security notices, email changes, billing-related notices, and job alerts)

Support routing. Help requests may be delivered to our support workflows through service providers and integrations we configure. Retention and storage location can vary by channel.

3.8 Marketing and Website analytics (where enabled)

On the Website (and on the App only if described in our Cookie Policy or a consent mechanism), we may collect analytics and advertising measurement data through third-party technologies.

Non-essential cookies and similar technologies are used only as described in our Cookie Policy and, where required by law, after you provide consent through the mechanism described there.

The Website may also display testimonials or other marketing content when available. If you submit information to us for testimonial or marketing purposes, we will use it as described at collection and as permitted by law.

3.9 Sensitive data

We do not ask you to provide special categories of personal data (such as health data or government ID numbers) for normal use of the Services. Do not submit such data unless a feature clearly requires it and you have a lawful right to provide it.

• Authenticate and secure the Services (sessions, fraud prevention, abuse detection, and password safety checks using industry-appropriate methods, such as privacy-preserving comparison against known breach datasets where used).
• Process subscriptions and enforce plan limits (with Dodo Payments and our billing systems).
• Communicate with you (transactional messages; marketing where permitted and, where required, with consent).
• Operate the Website (analytics and advertising measurement, where enabled and subject to your cookie choices).
• Provide support (responding to contact and help requests).
• Improve and develop the Services (quality, debugging, and product analytics subject to your cookie choices on the Website).
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and other policies.
• Protect rights and safety of Resodro AI, users, and others.

We do not use your personal data to make hiring decisions for Resodro AI as your employer. Employment decisions with third-party employers are between you and them.

6. AI, Automated Processing, and Profiling

6.1 AI processing

We use artificial intelligence and machine learning, including third-party model providers, to:

• generate, evaluate, improve, or transform resumes and cover letters;
• support interview coaching and transcription, and optional analysis of media you choose to provide;
• rank or suggest job listings based on your preferences and job attributes.

AI outputs may be inaccurate or inappropriate. You must review outputs before use. See our Terms of Service and Disclaimer.

6.2 Profiling

We may use profiling related to your stated job preferences and relevance scoring to rank or suggest job listings. This processing supports the Services and does not, by itself, produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you in the sense of automated hiring decisions by Resodro AI.

6.3 Legal bases (EEA and UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on one or more of the following:

You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

6.4 India and other regions

• India: We process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), where applicable.
• United States: We provide notices and honor applicable state privacy rights as described in Section 11.
• Other countries: We process data as necessary to provide the Services and as permitted by applicable law.

7. How We Share Personal Data

We do not sell your personal data for money.

We share personal data with service providers and partners who help us deliver the Services. A current list of subprocessors (including categories of processing) is published at https://resodro.ai/legal/subprocessors and may be updated from time to time.

Categories of recipients commonly include, for example:

• Cloud infrastructure and hosting (compute, storage, networking, databases)
• Authentication and identity services
• AI, speech, and multimedia processing providers (where features require them)
• Job listing and jobs-market data providers
• Payments and tax (our merchant of record and related payment services)
• Email delivery (transactional messages)
• Security and abuse-prevention tools (including breach-signal checks where used)
• Support and workflow automation (where configured)
• Analytics and advertising technologies on the Website (subject to the Cookie Policy and consent where required)
• Professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers) when reasonably necessary
• Authorities and parties where required for legal, safety, or rights-protection reasons

7.1 Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred subject to appropriate safeguards and notice where required by law.

7.2 Sharing for legal and safety reasons

We may disclose personal data if we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Resodro AI, users, or the public.

Resodro AI is based in India. Subprocessors may process personal data in India, the United States, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other countries where they operate.

Where personal data is transferred from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to a country without an adequacy decision, we implement appropriate safeguards, which may include:

• Standard Contractual Clauses (EU Commission and/or UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum, as applicable); and
• supplementary measures where required by applicable law.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes in this Policy, unless a longer period is required by law.

9.1 Account deletion

You may request deletion through in-app settings or https://resodro.ai/contact.

Deletion may be subject to a grace period (for example, 30 days) during which you may cancel deletion by signing in again. After the grace period, we delete or de-identify personal data from active systems, subject to:

• legal retention obligations;
• backup retention cycles described above; and
• limited records needed to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

Deleting your Account does not automatically cancel a Dodo Payments subscription. Cancel billing separately as described in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

10. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure development practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for safeguarding your Account credentials and devices.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have some or all of the following rights:

• Access to personal data we hold about you
• Correction of inaccurate personal data
• Deletion of personal data (subject to exceptions)
• Restriction of processing in certain circumstances
• Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (where applicable)
• Data portability of personal data you provided, in a structured, commonly used format where technically feasible
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Opt out of marketing emails (unsubscribe links)

Residents of certain US states (including California, Colorado, Virginia, and others) may have rights to know, access, delete, correct, and opt out of certain processing. We do not sell personal information for money. For cookie-based advertising on the Website, use the choices described in our Cookie Policy and any opt-out tools offered by those providers.

11.4 India (DPDP Act)

You may have rights to access, correction, erasure, and grievance redressal under applicable Indian law. Contact https://resodro.ai/contact. We have not appointed a named Grievance Officer; the contact page is used for grievances.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has provided personal data, contact https://resodro.ai/contact and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13. Third-Party Links and Job Listings

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or display job listings from third-party sources. Those parties collect and use information under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

14. Automated Decision-Making

We do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you in the sense of employment hiring by Resodro AI. Job matching and AI suggestions are tools for you to review and act on.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the current version at https://resodro.ai/legal/privacy-policy and update the “Last updated” date at the top.

For material changes, we may provide additional notice (for example, by email to your Account email, a notice in the App, or a banner on the Website).

Your continued use of the Services after the “Last updated” date means you accept the revised Privacy Policy, except where applicable law requires your explicit consent or gives you additional rights.
